A salt substance that is made from citric fruits such as lemon & limes. The fruits are dries and formed into powder crystals. Citric Acid or Sour Salt provides a distinctive sour or tart taste. Great for sourdough bread. Use in Borscht, cold beet soup, sweet & sour meals, or lemon cheese cake. Used in tart candies. May also be used as a coffee maker and dishwasher to clean and delime it. Can be used to curdle milk to make your own ricotta cheese.
