Finding an all natural organic chili spice was a daunting task...so we created our own. Depth of flavor comes from organic chilis (chipotle, ancho, chili, jalapeno, red chili flakes), deep smoked paprikas, spices, sea salt, and a oh so slight touch of cinnamon. Use in so many ways other than the obvious. Use on nachos, lentils, mac and cheese, salad dressings, quinoa, rice, corn on the cob, stews, soups, and of course chili.
Ingredients: Organic Cumin, Organic Chili Powder, Organic Smoked Paprika, Sea Salt, Organic Hot Smoked Paprika, Organic Ancho Powder, Organic Garlic Granules, Hickory Salt, Organic Chipotle, Organic Red Chili Flakes, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Jalapeno Powder and Organic Spices.
Fennel and Fire Simple Chili Recipe:
Saute ground meat with one teaspoon of Fennel and Fire Chili Spice in Dutch oven, Remove meat once cooked.
Saute vegetables (onions, carrots, red pepper is what I like) in dutch oven.
Add meat back into vegetables in dutch oven.
Add 6 cans of fire roasted tomatoes and 1 or 2 cans of Tomato sauce.
Add 3 cans of beans of your choice ( I like pinto and red kidney).
Add 5 Tablespoons of Fennel and Fire Chili Spice.
Add enough water or broth to get it to your desired consistency.
Bring to boil.
Simmer 20 - 30 min on low, Taste and add more seasoning if desired.
