From Appetizer to Everyday Dinner
We first loved these bites as a party favorite—passed around on a platter at game days, summer gatherings, and casual get-togethers. They disappear quickly and always have guests asking, “What did you put on these?”
But at Fennel & Fire, we believe great flavor shouldn’t be reserved for special occasions. By pairing these flavorful little bites with simple sides, they become an easy dinner that delivers big flavor without a long list of ingredients or hours in the kitchen.
Sweet Heat Chicken Bites are proof that a simple ingredient can become something extraordinary. While they make an irresistible appetizer for game days, parties, and casual gatherings, we love turning them into an easy weeknight meal. Serve these bacon-wrapped bites over fluffy rice with a side of roasted seasonal vegetables, and you have a complete dinner with the perfect balance of smoky, savory, sweet, and gentle heat.
Whether they’re passed around on a platter or enjoyed around the dinner table, these little bites bring big flavor to every occasion.

Recipe Note
• For the best flavor: Roll the chicken bites generously in Sweet Heat so the bacon is fully coated. As they cook, the natural sugars in the blend caramelize with the bacon to create a delicious sweet and spicy crust.
• For easier prep: Use thin-cut bacon if possible—it wraps more easily and crisps at the same rate the chicken finishes cooking. Do not overlap bacon.
• Make it a meal: Serve over fluffy jasmine rice with roasted broccoli, green beans, corn-on-the-cob or seasonal vegetables.
• Make it a party bite: Insert a toothpick before baking and serve warm with a creamy ranch, honey mustard, or spicy aioli dipping sauce.
• Don’t overcrowd the pan: Leave space between each bite so the bacon roasts and crisps rather than steams.
